Didactical Design Patterns for the Applications of Software Tools
Abstract:
We report on didactical design patterns for mathematics education with a
special focus on the impact on the software construction process. We
describe how such short texts, in the first instance developed for
educators, can also be used by developers of learning software. We claim
that such an application supports a more effective usage of the tools,
thus raises their quality.
The paper presents one of the design patterns in details,
Representation-on-Demand, and illustrates its applications through several
tools.
